Where the numbers come from
This page explains how every figure on this site is sourced, what the label after each number means, and what this site will never do. Read it if you want to know whether to trust the rest.
Three rules govern every page
- Rule 1No invented or adjusted data. Numbers come from government or primary sources, or from credible press, and each one carries a label and a date. Where the honest answer is that nobody knows yet, the page says nobody knows yet.
- Rule 2No opinion about any named developer, flattering or otherwise. Appearing in the register is a record, not a recommendation. Buyers are always told to check the GUJRERA registration, the title and the price for the specific plot they are being sold.
- Rule 3No superlatives. The 920 sq km figure is a planning envelope, of which about 422 sq km is meant to be urban development, phased over roughly 30 years. Marketing claims are treated as claims. This site describes Dholera as one of India's largest planned industrial regions, which is what the published area figures actually support.
The order sources are trusted in
Government sources come first: dholera.gujarat.gov.in, PIB press releases, NICDC and DSIRDA documents, the Central Electricity Authority's quarterly solar reports, and GUJRERA. Companies come second, on their own published pages, which is where the Tata Electronics and Tata Power figures come from. Credible press comes third, and anything from there is carried as reported, with its date. Broker material is used only to describe what brokers are quoting, never as a fact in its own right.
What this site will not do
It will not list plots, take a listing fee, sell your enquiry to anyone, or accept payment for a place in the register. It will not print a price as though it were a fact, promise that land will appreciate, or write a target as though it were a status. If any of that ever changes, this page will say so before anything else does.
