DICDL payment schedule

This turns a Dholera allotment letter into actual calendar dates and amounts, because the policy counts every deadline from the letter rather than from the agreement. Missing the first one costs you the deposit and the processing fee.

Updated 11 August 2026. Clauses read directly from the allotment policy PDF on 11 August 2026.

Interest is calculated at 12 percent a year on the amount overdue, for the number of days in the extension window, using a 365 day year. The policy states the rate and the windows. It does not state the day count convention, so the day count here is this site's arithmetic and a demand note may differ slightly.

The clock starts on the allotment letter, not on the agreement

People plan their money around the date they sign an agreement. The allotment policy does not work that way. Every deadline runs from the date on the allotment letter, and the agreement is executed only after the whole price has been paid.

Ten percent falls due within ten days. Thirty percent within ninety days. The remaining sixty percent within a hundred and eighty days. Miss the ninety day mark and the committee may allow payment between day ninety one and day one hundred and fifty, with interest at twelve percent a year. Miss the hundred and eighty day mark and it may extend by up to ninety further days, again at twelve percent on the balance.

Possession comes last. The agreement is executed within ten days of the full payment, and possession is given at execution. So the six month schedule above is the whole of the money going out before anything is handed over.

These extensions are permissive, not automatic. The policy says the committee may allow them. Nothing here should be read as a guarantee that a late payment will be accepted.
